If you are a Steelers fan you might be the only happy person walking around today. We all love the hype of the Superbowl whether it’s about the game, the parties, the commercials, or the music we have some reason to be interested in it. Come the next day how happy are you about your Superbowl decisions? I can’t speak for you but I will let you in on my experience. I held a party at my house I had a ton of people over to enjoy this event. I spend way too much money on food and drinks that we barely even touched. Also I ask everyone to bring something to eat and drink and needless to say before kickoff I already had a few burgers and pizza slices in me...( tum tum tum TUMS, saved my life). By kickoff there was over 13 different drink choices, 9 types of chips you could eat, pigs in a blanket, pizza, mini burgers, and cake to be eaten. After the first half the place was a disaster (too much for my Swiffer to handle. This was a job for a mop and broom …baby come back… love that commercial). When all was said and done I spent too much, ate too much, and had no motivation to clean OOO and I have to work today. I am just assuming I am not alone here. I say we name the day after Super Sunday here are my suggestions Sober Monday Sick Day Monday Call Out Monday Sleep Button Monday (that might be every Monday) What the …. Monday Event he commercials were just alright, here was one of my favorites

Since the Pats aren’t in the Superbowl this year I guess we will keep a close eye on this year crop of commercials. Over the years the Superbowl has made memories that will last forever, made simple ideas into those of legend, and that is only during commercial breaks. Over the years some of the most famous Superbowl commercials come from Pepsi. Pepsi has used bears turning the YMCA into P E P S I, Britney Spears’s assets, and The Night at the Roxy head bob.
The latest trend is making a ridiculous commercial that will never make it onto the Superbowl broadcast. Instead making it for internet use and call it “banned” because it was too risky is some way. Here are some examples…

Bruce Springsteen will be performing during the Superbowl halftime show this Sunday. Any guess on what 3 or 4 songs the Boss will play at halftime? My guesses are 1.Working on A Dream (his new song) 2.Born To Run 3.Glory Days I am guessing you won’t see something like this during his performance…

This weekend get that leftover shoveling out of the way, take your girlfriend to a movie and dinner, get the manroom ready because next Sunday is the Superbowl (just incase you didn’t know that already). This years halftime entertainment is ‘The Boss” Bruce Springsteen. What will you be watching during halftime? In years past the usually 25-35 minute halftime break consisted of various entertainment from different sources. Remember the Bud Bowl? While it was not always aired during halftime it was always seen in some point of a Bud Commercial. The Bud Bowl always mimics the Superbowl in score and how the game was decided.

“I really haven't had that exciting of a life. There are a lot of things I wish I would have done, instead of just sitting around and complaining about having a boring life. So I pretty much like to make it up. I'd rather tell a story about somebody else. ” - Kurt Cobain
